Stephen Tolbert Bio
I started in the financial industry right out of UT in 1990. A finance major with many lessons to learn. 19 years at Morgan Stanley, 13 years at UBS, and now at US Capital.
I truly enjoy working with my clients. The relationships are amazing, and I've made many lifelong friends. I see my role as my client's advocate. I prefer to be a fiduciary. That means no hidden fees, commissions, kickbacks or self-dealing. Upfront, honest, candid conversations is what you should expect.
Most of my clients live off the income their portfolio produces. Income and dividends are not luxuries, rather a stable cash flow is a requirement. We invest to create a paycheck with client's portfolios. Creating an income stream like this requires a different strategy than most realize. I love learning about all the different ways people have made and save money.
My wife Julie and I have been married over 20 years. We have an 8 year old son. In my spare time I volunteer at Memorial Drive Methodist Church. I also enjoy working out and donating a little blood, sweat and tears at the local CrossFit gym.
