Since beginning her distinguished career in 1983, Karee has developed keen insight into the strategic and tactical tax-efficient planning needed to navigate and position clients for long-term success in an increasingly complex financial world. As a Managing Director of the Dix Sampson Consulting Group of US Capital Advisors, Karee advises select individual, family, trust and institutional clientele focusing on each client’s unique financial situation, needs and risk tolerance to custom-tailor strategies and portfolio construction to achieve investment and legacy goals.

Karee's consistent blend of advice and personal service begins by defining clear investment objectives based on detailed analysis of the current financial situation. She conducts in-depth portfolio analysis, develops and monitors financial strategies and asset allocation, oversees fixed income portfolios and manager selection for traditional and alternative equity and income investments.

Her comprehensive scope includes collaboration with clients’ tax and estate planning professionals to fully understand estate plans and wealth transfer strategies for our high net-worth families.

Karee joined US Capital Advisors in 2016, after 22 years with Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley where she was a VP of Investments and 10 years with Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo Advisors where she was VP and senior partner of the Dix/Sampson group. Karee holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Utah.

Philanthropic work includes serving on the Estate Planning council and President’s Advisory Board of UT Southwestern Medical Center (Finance Committee), and the board of Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer and Jim & Joanie Hatcher Charitable Trust.

Karee and her husband, Greg, have two daughters and one grandchild.
